» Is there a lift to the upper floor?
No, as this is a traditional Venice guest house in a 15th century building so unfortunately there is no elevator, however staff will be more than willing to assist you with your luggage and with any other requirements.

» Where can we find a Gondola trip?
Venice’s famous gondolas can be taken from the waterfront at St Mark’s Square, only a few minutes’ walk from Ca' Formosa guest house.

» Do the rooms have balconies?
Yes, some with romantic canal views and our upper rooms have views over the rooftops of Venice.

» Does the guest house have private parking?
No, as Venice is car-free. Cars can be left securely at Tronchetto car park on the edge of the island. For guests travelling to Venice by car, please see the suggestions on our Location page.

» Is there Tourist Information nearby?
Our helpful and multilingual staff are available to supply you with all the information you need, including city maps and guides, and can arrange tours and excursions on your behalf.

No, however we will assist you if you wish to make use any facilities during your stay in Venice.

Good directions can be found on our Location page. Ca' Formosa Guest House is on a peaceful side street, away from the bustle of the main streets but handily close to the main attractions.

Yes, access to the internet is free.

» How far is the airport from Venice?
Marco Polo International Airport is around 12km from the centre of Venice. Public transport is excellent and directions from the airport and a map are available on our location page.

» Are there non-smoking rooms?
Yes, by request.

» Is there a restaurant at the guest house?
No, however there are many excellent places to eat in the vicinity and our staff will be able to suggest a restaurant appropriate to your tastes.
